Adam Idah teases immediate Celtic transfer as hyped up punters split over where his plane is going

Adam Idah has got Celtic fans talking with an Instagram post showing he's on his way...somewhere.

The Hoops are deep in talks with Norwich to bring the Ireland frontman back after his nine-goal rush in the second half of last season. He was a key player and Brendan Rodgers wants him back - and may be about to get his wish. The striker posted a shot from a plane on Instagram and the skyscanners are coming out to speculate on where he's off to.

Idah's Instagram story, featuring a shot of another plane out of his seat window, was posted just before 3pm on Tuesday. And with Norwich off to Belgium for a pre-season training camp on the same day, many fans quickly assumed he was off with Johannes Hoff Thorup's squad to be assessed by the new manager in their friendlies against Brugge and Standard Liege.

The timing of the post however has raised one question. It was sent at 2.58pm. The most recent flight from Norwich airport before that time? Prestwick, 2.30pm.

Some eagle-eyed punters even noted it doesn't appear to be a large flight - with no wings visible in the relatively wide shot. If that's the case, it would rule out either a flight to Belgium with his teammates, or a commercial aircraft on its way to Ayrshire. It could just as easily be a private jet - and, if so, the odds are he's on his way to Glasgow to finalise his permanent move. Or on his way to the US, where he could join new signing Viljami Sinisalo ahead of friendlies with DC United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
