Celtic transfer bulletin as left back target thrilled by Buckie rout and Rocco Vata impresses boss

Celtic had one keen observer of their win over Buckie Thistle – after the news emerged Owen Beck won't be available to solve their left-back issues this season.

The Estoril left-back has attracted January interest from Celtic and it seems he took in the win with Bernardo's goal catching his eye. Bernardo shared an action snap of his finish on Instagram and Araujo was soon in the comments saying: 'What a finish sir Paulo boy,' with a couple of loveheart eye emojis for good measure.

That comes after Liverpool tanked the Hoops' prospects of landing top left-back target Beck ... or at least their chances of using him this season. Record Sport reported on Sunday that Celtic were considering an offer to sign Beck permanently after their loan approach for the former Dundee standout was rejected earlier in the window.

However that always hinged on whether he would play for Liverpool this month.
