Celtic doom merchant hits the Hotline panic button over Rodgers 2.0 as he fears Rangers skelping

Celtic took the points from Pittodrie but not too many plaudits from their own fans who weren’t impressed by the performance.

Eddie Fraser emailed: “How we managed to beat Aberdeen today was pure luck. We were a shambles at the back. Greg Taylor had a shocker, the centre backs were slow and the keeper hesitant in coming off his line. Also, the midfield and attack struggled to string any passes together. The decision-making at times was baffling and the play was slow – like night and day from last season. If we play like this against Rangers we will lose.”

Kenny Wilson, Moffat, said: “Another average performance from Celtic but also it’s another three good points. We have too many players not playing anywhere near their best and a few maybe need dropped with Greg Taylor being top of that list. Only problem was the lack of height up front so Rodgers should prioritise bringing in a tall physical forward to take the pressure off Kyogo.”

John Robertson, South Queensferry, said: “Nice to see
