Philippe Clement Rangers disappearing theory reeks of Celtic fear as Hotline hardliners collide

After another dramatic night in the Premiership title race, it's as you were after two contrasting performances.

Celtic were in seventh heaven after blowing Dundee away, while Rangers clawed their way to victory after going behind at Kilmarnock. The vibe at Parkhead is far more positive after being held at home by Killie and saving their own bacon just in the nick of time at Motherwell.

But there seems to be no panic on the blue half of Glasgow, who aren't buying that their rivals have turned the tide and predict their their derby luck will run out before the campaign ends. Alan Flett emailed: "You can always rely on Celtic fans for a good laugh. They booed their team after a 1-0 win v Ross Co. because the performance was poor. They were also poor in following games v Hibs and Motherwell but because they scored late winners in both, they celebrated like they’d already won the league."

George Wilson, West Sussex, said: "The Celtic camp must be sick. They have beaten Rangers twice. Won every game except two drawn games this year. Scored seven goals against Dundee.

"Yet they have somehow managed to turn an eight-point lead with better goal difference into two points behind Rangers with a worse goal difference. They can’t possibly have the same good luck in the two remaining games against Rangers as they had in the first two so the Rangers winning juggernaut can continue towards the title regardless of the poor pitches we have been playing on."

Tam Williamson's claim in Wednesday's Hotline that Philippe Clement would be disappearing at the end of the season caught the attention. But Light Blues reckons he's actually worried deep down.
