Budget airline to serve doner kebabs on flights from Manchester Airport

Passengers will be able to order doner kebabs for the first time on a budget airline flying in and out of Manchester Airport this year.

Corendon Airlines has just introduced kebabs to its inflight menu on flights from Manchester to and from favourite holiday destinations in Turkey and Greece, such as Antalya and Crete.

Airine bosses say the introduction of the authentic Turkish snacks is in response to popular demand, following their introduction on flights from Germany earlier this month.

Bosses say their Corendon doner kebabs are made to a special Turkish recipe using top quality ingredients including beef, green peppers and tomatoes, in a tortilla wrap, and cost £9.23* (11 euros) for card payments.

The kebabs are also available on Corendon’s flights from other UK airports, including London Gatwick, Stansted, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Newcastle.

The news was announced to conincide with the airline's Happy Flydays campaign which is offering a 40 per cent discount per passenger on selected dates for flights between February 10 and May 31 this year.
