Flights to and from Manchester Airport have been cancelled ahead of strike action in Belgium.
All arrivals and departures to and from Brussels on Thursday (February 13) appear to have been cancelled pre-emptively. It comes as the government issues a travel warning ahead of a national transport strike in Belgium affecting all airports across the European nation.
According to the travel warning, all Belgian airports will be closed as unions plan to strike on the 13th of every month until further notice. Bus and rail services will be 'severely limited' throughout the country during the strike but Eurostar services remain unaffected.
Five departures from Manchester Airport to Brussels have been cancelled, according to FlightRadar24, including three Ryanair flights and two operated by Brussels Airlines. The live air traffic monitoring service says five flights arriving from Brussels are cancelled too.

The UK Foreign Office issued updated travel advice ahead of the strikes on Wednesday (February 12). It said: "There will be a national transport strike in Belgium on 13 February.
"Unions plan to strike on the 13th of every month until further notice. All Belgian airports will be closed on 13 February.
"Bus and rail services will be severely limited throughout the entire country during the national strike. Eurostar services remain unaffected on 13 February.
"Monitor local news and check with your travel provider regarding potential delays."
