Brendan Rodgers' 'unheard of' Leicester City move as key change unlocks Norwich

Leicester City beat Norwich 3-0 thanks to a brace from Jamie Vardy and a ninth goal of the season for James Maddison.

After a quiet first half, City burst into action and ran away with the three points that lifted them back into the Premier League's top ten.

Norwich had found space on the counter and the Frenchman was brought on to prevent it. In the opening ten minutes of the half, Leicester dominated.

The change gave the attackers more freedom and Vardy scored his first of the game via a huge deflection which looped over Angus Gunn into the back of the net. Soon after, he scored his second before Maddison smashed in a third from close range as City eventually began to punish the Premier League's weakest defence.

A lot of this came
