BREAKING: Tram stop shut after 'altercation' with person rushed to hospital - latest updates
A tram stop in Trafford is closed off this afternoon after an 'altercation' broke out between a group of men.
Trafford Bar is currently shut to passengers, with trams passing through but not stopping. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers were called to an 'altercation' between three men at the stop at around 10.20am.
Glass bottles were thrown in the incident, the spokesperson added. One person has been taken to hospital.

It has not yet been confirmed whether anyone has been arrested. Officers remain on the scene.
A tweet posted by Metrolink said: "Due to an ongoing Police Incident at Trafford Bar the station is not in use for any passenger activity. Trams can pass through in both directions without stopping but passengers cannot get on or off at this station."
