Forensics combing scene and police tent erected after seriously injured man airlifted to hospital following 'disturbance' - latest updates
A large police cordon is in place in Salford tonight after a man was seriously injured. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said they were called to reports of a 'disturbance' on Kenyon Way in Little Hulton shortly after 5.30pm.
Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
A section of Kenyon Way remains taped off. A bus can be seen inside the cordon. A police tent has also been erected and specialist forensic crime scene investigation (CSI) are currently at the scene.
