Bradley, Barkhuizen & players linked with Bolton Wanderers transfers so far this summer

The transfer window has opened and Bolton Wanderers have already made two signings so far this summer

Wanderers finished last season in League One in ninth place and are seeking to mount a promotion push in earnest this campaign. The club had a successful January transfer window which is aiming to be built upon earlier this summer.

The players will soon to return to pre-season training later on this week. They will then depart for a week-long training camp on the Algarve in Portugal, with their opening pre-season friendly away to Longridge Town on Tuesday, June 28.

Wanderers are seeking quality over quantity this summer and not too many names have emerged in terms of speculation so far. However, the Whites have already made two signings with the capture of defender Jack Iredale from fellow League One side Cambridge United, as well as the return of James Trafford on loan from Manchester City.

Conor Bradley

Wanderers have set their sights on Anfield youngster Bradley. The 18-year-old hails from Northern Ireland and has eight caps for his country at senior level.

The right-back has also played five times for Jurgen Klopp's side across the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. All of these appearances came last season.

A report from journalist Alan Nixon claims Wanderers are 'first in the queue' for Bradley's services and that the potential move would appeal to his appeal to his parent club. That is owing to the close proximity for the Anfield club to monitor Bradley, as well as his chances of regular football.
