Liverpool's Connor Bradley paid compliment as Bolton Wanderers' Ian Evatt talks transfer market

Ian Evatt has hailed Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley's attitude in his early days at Bolton Wanderers and believes the League One side have been rewarded after doing their due diligence on the youngster.

Highly rated Bradley has moved on loan for the season from the Anfield outfit to Wanderers. The 18-year-old has already appeared for the first team there and is also a fully fledged Northern Ireland international.

Wanderers made Bradley their number one target in the January transfer window. However, Jurgen Klopp's side were not willing to let him out on loan at that time due to his involvement in the Anfield club's first team.

Instead, Wanderers went for Fulham defender Marlon Fossey and had expressed an interest in signing him again this summer. However, when Championship interest emerged in the Cottagers man, the Whites moved on and were able to quickly wrap up the Bradley deal.

Bradley has impressed so far for Wanderers in pre-season. He has featured three times so far and scored his first goal in the 2-2 behind closed doors draw against Stockport County.

At times with players from big Premier League academies coming down to the likes of League One and League Two, their attitude can be called into question. But that is certainly not the case with Bradley as Evatt sang the praises of both the player and his parent club as he shows 'glimpses' of his potential at Wanderers so far.

Evatt said: “That’s sometimes the issue with these big teams and the big Cat One teams, that it’s really their attitude, but I must say that Liverpool and the grounding that they give their players is excellent.
