Bolton Wanderers make transfer move for Derry City defender in latest summer activity
Bolton Wanderers have made a bid for Derry City defender Eoin Toal.
Wanderers have made three signings so far this summer with the addition of defender Jack Iredale on a permanent basis. Goalkeeper James Trafford and right-back Conor Bradley have both joined on loan for the season from Manchester City and Liverpool respectively.
The Whites are seeking to do some more business this summer before the transfer window closes at the end of September. Ian Evatt has previously spoken of up to two more players perhaps being brought in.

Reports have now emerged in Ireland suggesting that Wanderers have turned their attention to 23-year-old Derry defender Toal. He is out of contract at the Candy Stripes at the conclusion of this season.
The Irish Independent reports Wanderers have lodged a bid for the defender's services. However, they are not the only UK side said to be interested in Toal.
Toal has made more than 150 appearances for Derry and scored six goals. This season, he has turned out 20 times in the League of Ireland Premier Division and scored once.
