BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly addresses Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola 'romance' after 'in love' remark

Tess Daly has had her say about Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola ar romance rumours continue to swirl between the pair. The former Coronation Street star and the Italian professional dancer are currently favourites to lift the Strictly Come Dancing Glitterball this year.

The pair were seen over the weekend in the ballroom after making it through to the quarter-finals. It was also Musicals week in the BBC One dance contest and viewers saw Ellie, 22, and Vito, 31, perform a quickstep to the song Belle from Beauty And The Beast.

Dressed as the Disney princess in a blue and white dress, Ellie glided and twirled across the room with her dance partner Vito, who donned a Gaston costume with a billowing white shirt and red waistcoat and the dance saw Ellie and Vito secure a score of 36 from the judges.

Ellie and Vito are now back in the training room as they prepare for the semi-final after all the couples were put straight through to the penultimate week of the competition following Nigel Harman's sudden exit from Strictly 2023 alongside his professional dance partner Katya Jones.

And during the latest episode of It Takes Two, co-host Fleur East was seen chatting to Tess and Claudia Winkleman about the remaining couples in the show - which also including Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.
