BBC Strictly Come Dancing Dianne Buswell's tears as she says 'until next time' after emotional last
Dianne Buswell has shared an emotional 'last' as she reminded fans of her job way before finding fame on Strictly Come Dancing.
The dancer had quite the end to 2024, having won the BBC One dance contest for the first time since joining the show as a pro back in 2017 alongside her celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland.
They made history as they beat fellow finalists Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS singer JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley to lift the famous Glitterball trophy, which Chris, who was Strictly's first blind contestant, described in the aftermath as "astonishing".
Following the end of the show, Dianne was able to enjoy Christmas with her family. She was delighted when her parents Mark and Rina made the trip from Australia to watch her perform live in the BBC One dance contest in person for the first time since she joined the hit programme.
As the annual Christmas festivities arrived, so did more Buswell's as Dianne and her boyfriend Joe Sugg were joined at their home by Dianne's siblings, nieces and nephews for a family-filled festive season.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and Dianne was seen spending some of the last hours with her beloved family by giving her niece, Zofia, a haircut. She shared a picture of the pair, saying: "Last evening with this little beauty," before writing with another selfie: "I gave her her first haircut today."
Alongside a video of the moment, Dianne laughed as she wrote: "Because if you didn't know, I used to be a hairdresser," with fans aware it's a well-known fact that often makes a reoccurance.
