BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland makes admission to Dianne Buswell as she says 'told you'

Chris McCausland has been seen making a sweet admission to his former dance partner Dianne Buswell as they were seen reuniting for the first time since they won Strictly Come Dancing back in December.

Fans couldn't have been more thrilled to see the BBC One dance contest's new champions back together having gone their seperate ways following the end of the 2024 run of the competition.

As fans are aware, the professional dancer and comedian were paired together for the 20th-anniversary series of the hit dance show back in September and after three months they made it through to the final where they were crowned the latest Strictly winners.

They were seen facing competition from fellow finalists Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS singer JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley to lift the famous Glitterball trophy.

Despite their success, Dianne and Chris' dancing journey together quickly came to an end unlike some of their other co-stars as the latter was unable to commit to taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour due to his own stand-up tour, Yonks!, resuming after he paused it to take part in Strictly.

But Dianne has now teased that something is going to be announced by her and Chris as she took to Instagram on Tuesday (January 14) with a smiling selfie of the pair. Alongside the post, the dancer wrote to her 1.1 million followers: "Nine days and counting [eyes emojis]….?????? That's all you get for now."

Chris was quick to respond to the post, writing in the comments section: "Hey partner, I've missed you! Tick tock…. Tick tock…" And Dianne couldn't help but cheekily respond: "Partner I told ya you would miss me!"
