B4265 closed near Cardiff Airport after serious crash at St Athan - latest updates
A road leading to Cardiff Airport is likely to remain closed for some time after a crash in the early hours of this morning, say police.
The collision has forced a complete closure of the B4265, at the St Athan and MOD base turn off. The road is shut up to the Rhoose turn off, near Cardiff Airport.
The incident was first reported at 2:17am this morning. South Wales Police say the road is expected to be closed for 'some time'.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. The AA Traffic news website says the road is "closed due to crash on B4265 both ways from St Athan to Rhoose turn off".
