Armed police swarm Manchester street after 'shots fired' in early hours - latest updates
Officers are in attendance following a serious incident in north Manchester overnight. Police are at the scene on Woodlands Road, in Crumpsall, this morning (December 4).
Greater Manchester Police has taped off a building on the street, which is near to Abraham Moss tram stop. The Manchester Evening News understands the incident involves a 'firearms discharge'.
It's believed officers arrived in the early hours. Forensics officers were seen in attendance earlier today, while detectives are currently at the scene.

There are currently at least three officers in attendance on the cordon. Residents are being allowed in and out of the building which is at the centre of the investigation.
A GMP van and a police car are parked up outside the property. GMP has been approached for further details about the incident.
