Wardlow def Shawn Spears- Steel Cage Match-
MJF was the referee for this bout as Wardlow looked to complete the final step of his tasks to secure his match with MJF at Double Or Nothing.
The beginning of the bout saw MJF misplace the key, allowing Spears to carry out a vicious attack while Wardlow was still handcuffed. MJF would get in on the fun levelling Wardlow with a series of stomps in the corner.
MJF would continue to taunt Wardlow, but this would only make the big man angry to the point that he was able to break free of his handcuffs.
Spears looked like he almost had the victory after dropping his opponent with the C4. Even with MJF blatantly trying to fast count the pin, Wardlow still powered out at two. A panicked Spears went to hit Wardlow with a steel chair but would end up hitting MJF in the head.
Wardlow would capitalise by hitting Spears with four powerbombs and following up with one final one onto a chair, securing the victory and booking his place at Double or Nothing, where he has the chance to get revenge for weeks of torment.
