AEW Dynamite Results: Jon Moxley advances to Forbidden Door

Last night’s AEW Dynamite was one to remember. Featuring the likes of Buddy Matthews, Pac, Thunder Rosa, Wardlow and more. 

Plus, there was a Casino Battle Royale to determine who would collide with Jon Moxley in the main event to get a shot at the Interim AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door-

Kyle O’Reilly wins Casino Battle Royale-

Dynamite kicked off with the highly anticipated Casino Battle Royale featuring 21 wrestlers. A group of 5 will come down after each countdown expires and opponents can only be eliminated when they are thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the ground. 

The match was good and featured some great angles. Most notable being Swerve Strickland eliminating his partner Keith Lee, the return of the Blackpool Combat Club and ROH Pure TV Champion Wheeler Yuta and the reveal of Andrade El Idolo as the joker. 

The match would come down to Yuta and Kyle O’Reilly as the final two and just as it looked like Yuta had it, O’Reilly would scout him perfectly and walk out the victor. 

Pac def Buddy Matthews – All Atlantic Championship Qualifier 

Before this match, AEW revealed a brand new singles championship coming to the men’s roster, this being presented as the All Atlantic Championship. Its purpose is to recognise talent from all around the world. 

The brackets were revealed for the qualifiers and feature an athlete from a different country, featuring the likes of Miro, Malakai Black, Ethan Page, Penta Oscuro and two qualifying athletes from Japan. With the four winners going to Forbidden Door to compete in a 4-way match.
