Adam Idah acrobatics sees Celtic transfer fee skyrocket for Norwich fans blown away by training ground stunner

Adam Idah has demonstrated why Celtic are keen to sign him permanently with a stunning acrobatic effort in training. And Norwich fans are adding millions to his price tag as a result.

The Irish international's deadline day loan signing form the Canaries back in January was met with an underwhelming response by Hoops fans, who were left less than impressed with the business done to strengthen Brendan Rodgers' squad. But come the end of the season, Idah had shown his worth a capped a successful stint at Parkhead with a last gasp Scottish Cup Final winner against Rangers to secure a domestic double.

Rodgers is keen to bring Idah back, but Norwich are keen to squeeze every pound they can if they are going to let the big Cork man leave Carrow Road. A fee of £8million has been floated and there seems to have been little movement on any potential Glasgow return. And now the yellows are saying the same thing after watching Idah find the net during an open training session.

City posted a clip of Idah's goal on X, where he acrobatically meets a cross to send the ball back into the far corner, earning a Ray Wilkisns-esque "My word" caption from the club account.

And fans were quick to jack up the asking price on their club;s behalf in the replies. One said: "That's another £3million to his price tag Celtic fans," while another added: "Celtic fans watching and paying for him." Not everyone is keen to see him leave, with another Norwich punter simply demanding: "Keep him."
