Aberdeen squad revealed as Bojan Miovski given EVERY chance to be Viaplay Cup hero against Rangers

Silverware is the target for Aberdeen and Barry Robson wants his troops to step up to the big occasion once again.

The Dons have had an up and down time of it this season, more downs than ups domestically in truth, but there have been some moments to remember. They beat Eintracht Frankfurt in Europe during the week and the semi-final win over Hibs that set up this final clash with Rangers was wildly celebrated. They'll be hoping Bojan Miovski - the hero on that day - can come up with the goods again.

That depends on whether he's fit, of course, but Barry Robson is optimistic on that front despite his injury scare in the win over Hearts. Speaking on Friday, Robson said: "He was alright on this morning in training. I'm always optimistic We still have another training session on Saturday so we will see how he is and go from there." But how will the Dons line up?

It was a heavily rotated Dons side that downed Frankfurt during the week. Miovski sat that one out altogether but Duk and Ester Sokler both hit the back of the net - giving Robson serious food for thought up front. But let's face it, Miovski's the main man and will likely start if he's anything close to fit.

Nicky Devlin performed well at right-centre-back against Hearts last time out in the league but the step up in opposition could see him move out to wing-back with another outright centre-back coming in. Slobodan Rubezic and Angus MacDonald are both live options and each started during the week.
