'Why would someone do this?' - Family wakes up to find their Christmas decorations ransacked

A family from Fallowfield woke up to find their Christmas lights decorations ‘pulled apart’ and ‘destroyed’.

Sebastian Colans and his wife Tina woke to discover that their decorations around the house trampled on and left a mess. Initially, the pair thought the damage could have been from the weather, however, after close inspection, they found items that could only be forcefully broken by hand.

Sebastian was first alerted to the mess by his neighbour after seeing the lights over the front garden.

Tina said: “It’s a shame that people do this during Christmas, damaging someone else’s property is something I will never understand. I am just happy they didn’t try to break in. We were meant to do some last minute Christmas shopping but we have had to postpone that due to this. Just please whoever is doing this, just stop.
