Aberdeen prepare for triumph over Rangers as victory parade bus images are 'leaked' before Hampden blockbuster

Images of the bus Aberdeen will use for any victory parade through the Granite City have been leaked online.

The Dons face Rangers on Sunday at Hampden with the Viaplay Cup up for grabs. Barry Robson's side booked their place at the first major final of the Scottish football season with a win over Hibs at the last four stage and they are now aiming to win their first piece of silverware since Derek McInnes guided the club to success in this competition back in 2014. And with confidence high the Dons can take the silverware back from Mount Florida to the North-East, the club are doing the necessary, with getting the bus ready for a party in the Granite City.

Aberdeen City Council have already rubber-stamped plans for a parade should the Pittodrie outfit win at the national stadium - and images are now circling on social media of a red bus with "Scottish League Cup winners 2023-24" written on the back and side. Captain Graeme Shinnie will be hoping to lead the party and a tour of the town on Sunday.

But they face a tough task when an in-form Rangers arrive at Hampden. And while Philippe Clement may use the images as an extra motivator, the Light Blues also caught the eye of fans when they began advertising tickets for punters to get a picture with the trophy before the clash.
