James McGarry declares Aberdeen FC 'raring to go' after Storm Gerrit call offs as he sets winter break target

James McGarry wants to make sure Aberdeen go storming into the winter break.

The Dons are playing catch-up after seeing their last two games called off because of adverse weather conditions as a result of Storm Gerrit. Now New Zealander McGarry urged Dons to whip up their own storm by beating St Mirren and Ross County before the winter break. He said: “After two games being off I’m just raring to go. McGarry swapped Australia’s Central Coast for the Granite City in the summer and loved having his family with him for their first Scottish Christmas. The full-back said: “It was a nice Christmas as I had my family over and we really enjoyed it. It wasn’t too cold but it is different to back home where it is summer. I like to change it up.”
