£59m reunion, three deals completed - Man United dream defence after Leny Yoro injury return
It could be a double delight for Manchester United in the transfer market as they put the final touches on deals for two more signings.
Bayern Munich duo Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt are now ready to join Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee through the door at Old Trafford this summer. Right-back Mazraoui is set to cost a further £17million as a replacement for West Ham-bound Aaron Wan-Bissaka, as United continue to reshuffle the defensive options available to Ten Hag moving forward. De Ligt would add to his centre-back options alongside Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Yoro, with veteran Jonny Evans in reserve and United actively looking to sell Victor Lindelof this summer. Mazraoui is seemingly ready and waiting to launch into a shootout with Diogo Dalot for the right-back position.
When fit, Luke Shaw is without doubt a first-choice pick at left-back. However, on the opposite side and centrally, there's some thinking for Ten Hag and his backroom staff to do.
It will be one from Dalot and Mazraoui - with the latter
