Man United receive Leny Yoro injury return timeframe after star's hint

Manchester United centre-back Leny Yoro has been told he is in a race against the clock to make it back in time for the Christmas period following surgery on his foot.

During the clash with Arsenal in the United States, Yoro picked up an unfortunate foot injury which ended his hopes of being fit and available for the start of the season. Three weeks ago, the Frenchman underwent successful surgery on his injury and is now in the process of undertaking rehabilitation.

Over the bank holiday weekend, the former Lille man hinted he could be returning to United action sooner rather than later as he posted a sand timer emoji along with a picture of him walking out of a tunnel in the Reds' kit. While hope among the fans is that he will be back sooner rather than later, injury expert and Online Slots Real Money ambassador Ben Dinnery is more pessimistic on the defender's return date.

"It is difficult to put a concrete return date in because obviously they do vary depending on the individual and of course other factors," Dinnery told MEN Sport. "Typically we are looking in the region of about 80-90 days to return to playing.

"That could potentially be expedited, we have had players return within that 80 day period but it has on occasions extended way beyond that. That comes down to the type of surgery but historically it has always been around those timeframes - week two you should be doing this, week three you might be doing that.
