3 Rangers flops shown no Hotline mercy as gallus Ibrox punter told his silence is deafening

Rangers fans weren't in the mood for mercy ahead of their Champions League qualifier with Dynamo Kyiv - and if Philippe Clement sticks with Scott Wright this season, he's facing a Hotline fan revolt.

Ruthless Barriemore Barlow said: "How many more chances are Rangers going to give Scott Wright? Four managers have rarely used him, he had a chance to shine against Hearts but was dire once again. He must be moved on. Luckily, Cerny, McCausland and Matondo will mean he won't start much for rest of season."

There was some stick for Rabbi Matondo and Ben Davies too as Willie Mercer, Dumfries, said: "Clement's desire to have the fans behind him and back his rebuild of the team will fail rapidly and spectacularly, if he continues to try and convince these same fans that Wright and Matondo bring anything to the team or are anywhere near Rangers quality.

"Similarly with his selection of the weak and shaky Davies before the much more robust and reliable Leon Balogun. We as fans are not interested in what Clement sees during training or what these players bring to the training pitch. They are and will continue to be judged on what they do on matchdays, and Wright and Matondo have continually failed to bring any level of quality or contribution when it counts."

It's a little more positive across the city where Matt O'Riley seems to be linked with a new club every week. This time it's Brighton entering stage left but Stephen Mulhern, Dumbarton, said: "I’d be astonished if Matt O’Riley is tempted to leave Celtic for Brighton and if he stays and plays in the Champions League matches, it will be Bayern and Barcelona who will throw there hat into the ring for his services."

On that note, Rangers fan Chris Lowe is taking it tight again
