Philippe Clement won't have Rangers future he's building for as Hotline predicts Celtic clash is damage limitation mission

ONE week to go until the transfer window slams shut - and Hotline callers reckon the door could soon be closed on Rangers’ season too if they don’t get the finger out.

Record Sport columnist and ex-Gers skipper Barry Ferguson believes Philippe Clement needs three experienced heads in the door. But one punter reckons they had them - and let them leave. Stephen Mulhern, Dumbarton, said: “I hear Barry Ferguson saying Rangers need three experienced players to challenge Celtic. John Lundstram, Connor Goldson and Ryan Jack come to mind. They have openly said that they want to leave and Rangers need players who are 100 per cent committed to the club. Contracts are set up in favour of the player so let's give Clement credit for freezing them out.”
