Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher were at it again on Monday night after the former Manchester United captain called out his Sky Sports colleague over Liverpool's move for Romeo Lavia.

Jurgen Klopp's side have had three bids rejected for Lavia, with the latest said to be worth £46million. Southampton are holding firm on their £50million valuation, despite their relegation to the Championship.

Liverpool's decision to make an offer that is just £4m short has divided opinion, with some fans arguing that is the nature of negotiations while others are losing patience.

Carragher was in the latter camp, criticising the club's owners on Twitter. Want to join our MUFC Pro club for a totally ad-free version of the MEN’s Man United app packed with premium features?
