'You haven’t got a clue!' - Jamie Carragher slams Manchester United icon Gary Neville with transfer point
Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher were at it again on Monday night after the former Manchester United captain called out his Sky Sports colleague over Liverpool's move for Romeo Lavia.
Jurgen Klopp's side have had three bids rejected for Lavia, with the latest said to be worth £46million. Southampton are holding firm on their £50million valuation, despite their relegation to the Championship.
Liverpool's decision to make an offer that is just £4m short has divided opinion, with some fans arguing that is the nature of negotiations while others are losing patience. Carragher was in the latter camp, criticising the club's owners on Twitter.

He tweeted: "This is embarrassing. Liverpool for years now have got deals done quickly with no fuss. If you don’t think he’s worth 50M move on, if you really want him pay it. Also not sure why LFC aren’t in for [Moises] Caicedo, yes it’s a lot of money but Liverpool got big money for JH [Jordan Henderson]/FAB [Fabinho]".
Neville, never one to miss an opportunity to annoy his colleague, quote tweeted Carragher: "Do you now agree that Klopp has shielded your owners for the last 5-6 years?"
And the former United full-back's play clearly worked, with Carragher losing his cool.
He said: "Gary you haven’t a clue what’s going on at Liverpool! The owners have a self-sustaining model that Klopp bought into & produced miracles! Part of that was a transfer department that was the envy of Europe. That has now gone with Klopp running the club from top to bottom.
