A woman was viciously attacked while walking with a friend early on Sunday morning. The pair had been walking down Rochdale Road in Royton at around 2am together on October 27, Greater Manchester Police said.
They were then approached by a group of three to four men. Following this, an 'altercation' began in which a 'punch was thrown'.
