Saudi Arabian royalty Turki Alalshikh has been an instrumental figure in making the bout, but who is he and what role has he played in boxing over the past few years?
Born on August 4, 1981, Alalshikh is the man behind some of the world's biggest bouts that have taken place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - pitting the likes of Tyson Fury against Oleksandr Usky earlier this year among others.
He's also a member of the Saudi Royal Court who graduated from King Fahd Security College in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in security sciences before adding certificates in criminology, investigation, risk management and general management to his resume.
