Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has fired an X-rated rant on social media platform X after the singer was criticised, at least in some circles, for his on-stage performance at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
Gallagher was a star attraction before the IBF world heavyweight title fight between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois. Gallagher, who is gearing up for a sensational Oasis reunion tour with brother Noel and the rest of their band next year, belted out classic songs such as Rock 'n' Roll Star, Supersonic and Cigarettes and Alcohol beneath the famous arch.
But his performance was not to everyone's taste and the 52-year-old has hit back. In an X-rated social media post, Gallagher wrote to his X followers: "To all those S*** C**** who were crying about my ANGELIC TONES last night you ain't real fans you're just IMPOSTERS and if you do have tickets you wanna get rid of I'll gladly take them off your hands, we don't want the likes of you at our concerts next year anyway L******G." Oasis play seven gigs at the national stadium. On the canvas at least, AJ was blown away by Dubois on Saturday night. With the whole world watching, Dubois came of age with a fifth-round knock-out that stunned a sell-out arena, while also leaving Joshua's much-awaited proposed fight with Manchester-born Tyson Fury in serious doubt.
