Manchester United's Sofyan Amrabat has thanked supporters for the warm reception he received after making his debut in the victory over Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Morocco international came on in the last five minutes for United as they looked to secure their narrow victory over the Clarets.

While Amrabat was not on the pitch long enough for the fans to get a sense of what is to come from the midfielder, it was nonetheless pleasing to see a new signing make his first appearance.

Amrabat's debut was delayed after he sustained an injury that forced him to leave international duty early. But the 27-year-old's debut was worth the wait as he helped see out the win as United got back to winning ways after a dismal few weeks for the club.
