Harry Maguire has defended his Manchester United record by describing his win percentage as 'ridiculously high', although the defender also admitted he could leave the club in search of regular minutes on the pitch.

Maguire made just eight league starts last season and he was regarded fourth choice in the centre-back pecking order for the majority of the campaign, with Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof all playing more games.

Erik ten Hag also stripped Maguire of the captaincy in the summer and handed the armband to Bruno Fernandes. The centre-back remains at United and he was asked about his lack of starts ahead of England's upcoming friendly against Australia. "It's not my decision to whether I start the next game or not.
