West Ham captain Declan Rice will not sign a new contract at the London Stadium, according to journalist Paul Brown. Recent reports claim that the east London club have offered their captain multiple new deals, but Brown says he wants to keep his options open.
Football Insider reported over the weekend that Rice will not sign an extension this season. According to the website, the English midfielder is eyeing a move to a Champions League club next summer and has turned down a number of contract offers from West Ham, including one worth £200,000 a week.
Liverpool are the latest side to be linked with Rice, with Football Insider also claiming that the Reds and Jurgen Klopp want the 23-year-old.
Rice will have just one year left on his contract at the end of the season, though West Ham do have the option to extend it by another 12 months, giving them some protection.
