Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney believes Mason Greenwood should move on from the club. Greenwood has not played for United since January 2022.
He was charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in October 2022 but the Crown Prosecution Service dropped those charges in February He is under contract at Old Trafford until 2025 but there has been loan interest from Italian side Atalanta.

But for the club, its image and ensuring they make the right decisions, it’s almost a catch-22. "I think the best thing for Mason now is to get out of the club and go and develop somewhere else.
