Alfredo Morelos has been disciplined by his club Atletico Nacional after crashing a car while allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
The former Rangers star joined the Colombian side on a loan deal from Santos in Brazil back in July, but was allegedly found to have consumed the equivalent of five beers after he collided with biker on the road while he was on his way to training on October 23.
Victim Sebastian Davila, 27, suffered multiple injuries to his legs, hands and ribs as well as internal fissures from the crash that has sparked fears that he may never walk again.
Medellin club Nacional have now released a statement confirming their intent to punish Morelos, but have not revealed just what kind of disciplinary action the ex-Ibrox striker will face.
