Daley Blind names the biggest lesson Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag taught him

Former Manchester United defender Daley Blind has admitted Erik ten Hag taught him to be a winner during their time together at Ajax.

United signed Blind from the Amsterdam club in 2014 but after 141 appearances for the Reds, the full-back was sold back to Ajax in 2018.

By this stage, Ten Hag was in position at the Johan Cruyff Arena and the Dutch pair would enjoy success together winning the Eredivisie on three occasions and the Dutch Cup twice.

Blind's return to the Netherlands gave a boost to his career and, speaking to Sky Sports, the new Girona signing credits Ten Hag for instilling an elite mentality throughout the Dutch club.
