It's been a long wait but Blackburn Rovers finally have their first summer signing. Callum Brittain is the first player to join the Jon Dahl Tomasson era.
After a lengthy wait for an incoming, Gregg Broughton must be delighted to get his first deal over the line. The constant message from Rovers' head coach has been to separate the two departments.
When pressed for a transfer update, he's reiterated that he is in charge of the team and the club must provide him with what he needs in the market.
It may have taken longer than everyone would have liked, the club included, but Broughton has delivered with a clever piece of business.
