After a long chase, Blackburn Rovers officially unveiled Tyler Morton as their second summer signing. The 19-year-old arrives on a season-long loan from Liverpool and will compete alongside John Buckley and Lewis Travis in central midfield.
Morton offers more depth in the midfield for Jon Dahl Tomasson without blocking the development path of Jake Garrett or Adam Wharton.
Morton has Champions League and Premier League appearances under his belt and has been highly praised by Jurgen Klopp. A loan move to the Championship was seen as the next logical step in his young career.
So, what can Blackburn Rovers expect from Morton? spoke to the Liverpool Echo's Chief Liverpool Writer for the inside track.
