Tottenham: 'Mentality switch' under Antonio Conte at Hotspur Way

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte reckons there’s been a “mentality switch” at the club, according to transfer insider Dean Jones. Spurs have made their joint-best ever start to a Premier League campaign, which has left them just one point behind bitter rivals Arsenal at the top of the standings after six matches.

Despite not hitting top gear in any of their league fixtures, Tottenham have dropped just four points and are in good shape ahead of their trip to Manchester City this weekend.

Perhaps Spurs’ best performance of the season came on the opening day, when they came from behind to comfortably beat Southampton.

But just eight days later, Conte’s side turned in their worst display and were fortunate for Harry Kane’s last-gasp header that rescued a point at Chelsea.
