Tottenham Hotspur will be ‘worried’ that manager Antonio Conte could soon be tempted away with Massimiliano Allegri under pressure at Juventus, according to journalist Paul Brown. Conte’s contract with Spurs is set to expire at the end of the season and chairman Daniel Levy may be growing concerned that he could lose his manager soon.
The Juventus manager has overseen a dismal start to the season in Turin, with the Italian giants winning just two of their opening seven Serie A games.
They currently sit seventh in the top flight with seven points between themselves and league-leaders Napoli. Back-to-back defeats have kicked off their Champions League campaign with both Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica getting the better of them.
Allegri is facing a vicious response from supporters and was given a police escort back to his car following their weekend defeat to Monza, with his position seemingly growing more and more untenable.
