Todd Cantwell has kicked off a new chapter at Blackburn Rovers - and fans will be desperate for a repeat of the incredible training ground goal he shared online.

The former Rangers man made the move to Ewood Park on deadline day with Philippe Clement cashing in on the midfielder. He was out of the picture under the Belgian this season after handing in a transfer request and he got his wish to leave Scotland with a move back to England in the Championship.

His new boss John Eustace insisted he was the top target for Rovers and has tipped him to tear it up in his new environment as he bids to help his new side return to the riches of the English Premier League.

The 26-year-old is getting down to hard work behind the scenes on the grass and he took to Instagram to give his new fan base a glimpse of what he can offer as he pulled off an outrageous spinning backheel volley goal from a cross as part of a training drill.
