Manchester United have been welcoming their international stars back to Carrington in stages throughout the week and were joined by three more on Wednesday in the shape of Antony, Christian Eriksen and Diogo Dalot.

Most of United's travelling players enjoyed fruitful international breaks. Eriksen was the standout as he scored a beautiful goal in the defeat to Croatia and was then instrumental in a shock win over France.

Dalot was also amongst the goals as he grabbed a rare brace in Portgual's 4-0 win over the Czech Republic. Antony, meanwhile, made two substitute appearances for Brazil.

The trio returned to training on Wednesday, joining Raphael Varane, Tyrell Malacia and Scott McTominay — who had arrived back at Carrington on Tuesday — as well as the likes of Jadon Sancho and David de Gea, who weren't on international duty, along with a host of promising youngsters.
