Simon Jordan reveals 'irritating' Celtic figurehead has him rooting for Rangers to win the title

Simon Jordan admits he’s rooting for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership title race because Brendan Rodgers "irritates" him.

Philippe Clement ’s side are two points clear at the top after both they and rivals Celtic were beaten at the weekend - the first time that’s happened in six years.

Motherwell inflicted a first home defeat of Clement’s reign by winning 2-1 at Ibrox on Saturday. That handed the Hoops an opportunity to reclaim top spot, but they fell flat at Tynecastle as the ten-man champions went down 2-0 to Hearts.

The fallout from that defeat could land Rodgers in hot water after he questioned the competence of the officials, VAR John Beaton in particular.
