Manchester United fans have hailed Omonia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho for his epic performance against their team in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The Nigerian is the Cypriot side’s second-choice goalkeeper but an injury to preferred shot-stopper Fabiano Freitas meant he started against the team he supports under the bright lights at Old Trafford.

He made a total of 12 saves throughout the match and many would have thought he would have been crestfallen when Scott McTominay netted the winner deep into stoppage time.
