Francis Uzoho was the talk of the town after his goalkeeping masterclass at Manchester United on Thursday night. Omonoia looked, for all intents and purposes, to be strolling towards a 5-0, 6-0, 7-0 defeat when they made the trip to Old Trafford this week despite having made life hard for their Premier League opponents during the reverse fixture.
But just as they had at the GSP Stadium just days beforehand, the Cypriot side frustrated United and remarkably came just seconds away from taking a point back to Nicosia.
That's because Neil Lennon's side put on a Herculean performance at the 'Theatre of Dreams' that was only unravelled by a stoppage-time winner from Scott McTominay that felt rather cruel.
Nevertheless, Omonia could feel very proud about their efforts and that especially goes for the aforementioned Uzoho, who grabbed the opportunity to play against the team that he supports with both hands.
