Sam Lammers has become Rangers’ fourth summer signing after the Dutchman penned afour year deal at Ibrox. The 26-year-old joins the Light Blues after a fee in the region of £3.5 million was agreed with the striker’s former club Atalanta.
Lammers joined the Italian Serie A outfit from PSV Eindhoven, where he came through the youth ranks, but spent last season on loan at Empoli and Sampdoria, having also previously had a loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Michael Beale has been forced to bolster his attacking options with Alfredo Morelos leaving Rangers after his contract expired.
Lammers emerged as a target in recent weeks and now the club has confirmed the move. He said on the club website: "“I am really excited to join Rangers, my first impressions have all been good so I am even more excited for the season to start now.
