Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Dominik Szoboszlai, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez are making progress with the injury issues that ruled them out of Sunday's Carabao Cup final triumph over Chelsea at Wembley, offering hope they should be fit for the upcoming clash with Manchester City.

Liverpool currently find themselves in the midst of an injury crisis, losing key players left, right and centre. Klopp had to flood his matchday squad with youngsters at Wembley, with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota, Szoboszlai, Salah and Nunez all missing.

To make matters worse for the Premier League leaders, they lost Ryan Gravenberch in the first half and Wataru Endo left the stadium wearing a protective boot after playing the full 120 minutes.

Gravenberch was forced off as a result of a reckless challenge from Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo.
